Instructions to Install Java™6 Update 11

Note: J2SE Plugin version 1.6.0_11 or higher is required to access the AIS applications.

1. Click here to begin the installation process.
2. A window will appear asking if you want to run or save the file. Click on the Save button.
3. Select Desktop as the location to "Save In"
• Note: Firefox and Netscape may not ask where you want to save the file, but instead downloads the file to your default location.
4. When the program has downloaded, go to your desktop and double-click the oaj2se icon.
5. Uncheck the option for the Yahoo Toolbar but follow the installation steps accepting the other defaults as prompted.
• Once complete, you will need to exit all browser sessions and open a new browser session.
6. When viewing the forms for the first time, the Security Warning window will appear. Check Always trust content from this publisher.  Click Run

2. What level of Java is required?
   • Java™6 Update 11 is the minimum level of Java required to run the AIS application.  We recommend keeping up with the latest version of Java to avoid possible desktop security breaches.
